What you will be doing
You will provide strategic direction and leadership to IT teams responsible for the entire product lifecycle within Capitec Bank Operations. The primary objective is to ensure the successful delivery of all product features, support, and maintenance-related tasks. Additionally, the position involves overseeing initiatives aimed at driving efficiency, optimization, innovation, and personnel development within these environments.
Our ideal candidate has
Completed a bachelor’s Degree or higher.
At least 3-5 years of experience in software development management, including leading a technical team.
Experience in progressive database or software development roles.
Experience in environments requiring work validation.
Strong stakeholder relationship engagement and management skills.
Accountability for delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Sound business acumen with knowledge of the retail credit and banking industries.
Experience with budgeting and accounting principles.
Proficiency in business analysis and design.
Experience in implementing and maintaining financial and contact centre systems and procedures.
Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
