Demand And Supply Planning Manager - Modderfontein at AECI Limited

Job Description    

• Ensure a fully integrated demand and supply planning process within the business
• Collect and prepare all demand data metrics from clusters for S&OP presentation
• Aggregate unconstrained demand for all regions on a monthly basis
• Collate and prepare historical sales trends analysis versus current forecasts and budgets
• Manage and chair monthly S&OP meetings
• Provide optimal internal and external customer service levels and working capital guidelines of the S&OP process as defined by AECI Water Strategy
• Monitor and report on business forecasting and supply planning performance of involved parties
• Work closely with key stakeholders to close supply gaps and constraints and ensure gaps and overlaps are addressed, scenarios are completed and issues appropriately escalated
• Inventory Management - Ensure that finished product inventories meet working capital objectives whilst meeting customer service objectives
• Order management - Work closely with customer services and customers to reschedule orders where potential supply issues may prevent seamless supply
• Manage and maintain SAP ERP Supply modules to support the Supply Planning process

Qualifications & Experience    

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Postgraduate qualification will be advantageous
• Over 8 years of relevant business experience in Supply Chain including of which over 3 years of experience in a managerial position
• At least 3-5 years of experience in demand and supply planning
• Advanced supply and demand planning knowledge
• Advanced inventory management knowledge
• Experience with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance and Operations
• Knowledge of Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training and/or certification
• Knowledge of Advanced Planning Systems and experience with SAP-APO
• Experience working in a Sales and Operations Planning
