WHAT YOU’LL DO

Demand Planner:

• Demand Forecasting:
• Develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors.

Data Analysis:

• Analyze and interpret data related to sales, customer behavior, and market trends to make informed decisions in demand forecasting.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to gather insights on promotions, new product launches, and other factors that can impact demand.

Forecast Accuracy Monitoring:

• Regularly monitor and evaluate the accuracy of demand forecasts, adjusting models and strategies as needed to improve accuracy.

Communication:

• Communicate forecast information to cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and preparedness.

Inventory Alignment:

• Work closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure that inventory levels align with forecasted demand, avoiding excess or insufficient stock.

 Scenario Analysis:

• Conduct scenario analysis to assess the impact of different variables on demand, enabling the development of contingency plans.

Market Research:

• Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and the competitive landscape to make proactive adjustments to forecasts.

New Product Introductions:

• Incorporate data on new product launches or changes in existing products into demand forecasts.

Continuous Improvement:

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives in demand planning processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Inventory Management

• Determine optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs.
• Place orders with suppliers, ensuring timely and sufficient replenishment of inventory based on demand forecasts and historical data.
• Implement systems to track and manage inventory levels accurately, including real-time monitoring of stock movements.
• Utilize inventory management software and technology to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.

WHO YOU ARE:

This job is for you if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 5+ years experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Online / eCommerce / Omni channel fulfilment experience
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, import/export regulations, and transportation logistics.
• Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across different departments.
• Willingness to adapt to changes in the supply chain and proactively seek solutions.
