DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

Customer Satisfaction

• Investigate customer issues, determine profiles, and manage feedback.
• Ensure accurate quotations and oversee the final quality check of implements.
• Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage seasonal orders efficiently to meet customer and organisational expectations.

 Manufacturing, Factory, and Operations Schedule

• Oversee stock control, maintain optimal stock levels, and liaise with vendors.
• Manage factory scheduling, coordinating personnel and materials for maximum efficiency.
• Ensure that production aligns with the established schedule, making adjustments when necessary.

 Compliance, Quality Control, and Housekeeping

• Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and maintain high-quality standards in the production and assembly process.
• Foster a well-kept, safe, and professional working environment.

 Optimisation of Systems, Processes, and Procedures

• Review and improve existing systems, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Solve equipment-related problems and ensure systems function optimally.

 Employee Management

• Establish Key Performance Areas (KPAs) and manage the performance of senior personnel.
• Supervise employees, delegate tasks, and provide in-house training and support.
• Handle disciplinary actions and manage employee welfare and safety.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant labour legislation.

 Financial Management

• Oversee financial strategy, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Ensure the effective management of the operational budget, income, and expenditure.
• Identify financial risks and implement corrective measures to maintain fiscal health.

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate
• At least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience (candidates with concurrent Agri implements and managerial experience will receive preference).
• Computer Literate.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy and accountability in all aspects of the job.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
