Matric plus bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7) in Risk Management/ Auditing or equivalent qualification as recognised by SAQA.
5 years relevant experience, at least 3 years at Junior Management (Assistant Director level) in Risk Management, Compliance, Business Continuity Management (BCM) and integrity management environment.
A post-graduate qualification in risk management will be an added advantage.
Valid driver’s license. Membership to the Institute of Risk Management South Africa or any relevant risk membership will be an added advantage.
COMPETENCIES:
Computer literacy, Knowledge of risk and disaster management practices. In-depth knowledge of Public Service prescripts.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a team.
Planning and organizing skills. Independent and focused. Problem solving, decision making and innovation.
Knowledge and understanding of Risk Management Competency Framework.
Knowledge and application of Risk Management Standards, Risk Management methodology and Business Continuity Best Practice Guidelines
