The role holder will be responsible to assist marketing and communications with implementing the business strategy through design across multiple platforms.

Requirements

Key Tasks & Accountabilities

• Take a creative brief and interpret/translate it into visual solutions supporting the desired brand positioning.
• Responsible for entrenching the Brand identity through design application by designing ALL representations of the Brand visually and making sure these are fully aligned so that the viewer gets a consistent brand message no matter what visual they see, i.e., promotional item, presentations, newsletters, digital banners, point of sale pull-up banner.
• Provide advice to internal clients on how best to express the Marketing and Communication plans, projects, etc, visually.
• Assist in driving internal creative thinking and consistency in how the brand is applied.

• Suppliers (Printers, Events companies)
• Suppliers of branded merchandise

Qualifications & Experience

• 3-year college or trade school qualification in graphic art and design.
• 3 + years’ experience in a Design Agency and Design Studio with a relevant portfolio.
• Experience with using Adobe
• Current trends in design across multiple platforms
• Thorough understanding of Brands and Branding
• Principles, practices and techniques of Graphic Design, Brand Strategy,
• Multimedia Design and Layout
• Production processes
