Desktop Support - IT at Sandi Crowther Recruitment

• Matric, A+ and N+ qualifications, plus 1 years working experience in Desktop support / IT support role required. Based at the National Retail Head Office, you will offer support to 650 retail stores, Head office and Distribution Centre. Must have good communication skills, patience, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities include:

• Set up of computers (hardware and software)
• Installation of computers and networking
• Provide end-user technical desk-side support (installation, configuration, problem identification and resolution) for Microsoft products and all business software.
• Equipment movements
• Return of IT stock, dispatching and IT asset management of stock
• Servicing of IT equipment
• Testing and benchmarking

Requirements:

• Matric and Completed A+ and N+ qualifications
• 1 years experience in a Desktop Support or similar IT support role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
