    Digital Account Director

    We are seeking an ambitious Digital Account Director. The successful candidate must have extensive experience working on Digital campaigns. It is imperative that the successful candidate keeps abreast with all advertising and digital trends, within industry best practices.

    Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    Client services

    • Participate in client meetings, managing meeting protocols, agenda, etc.
    • Ensure status is consistently up-to-date and correct.
    • Ensure that all meetings have thorough agendas, driving a productive outcome.
    • Ensure that contact reports are delivered timeously with key deliverables and then drive out those deliverables to the agreed timings
    • Plan and participate in client review meetings with team
    • Develop a consulting/advisory capability with client wherever possible
    • Communicate with the client on a daily basis and foster a solid relationship
    • Be consistently responsive and accessible to your client and team at all times
    • Ability to have tough and honest conversations with your client to enable your team to deliver excellence and to create trust
    • Build and manage the relationship with clients where they can rely on you, you proactively update them, and you assist them in delivering their requirements on time by reminding them as required
    • Ability to manage all kinds of personalities and always strive to get the best out of each individual
    • Excellent knowledge understanding of the client, the agency, the strategy, and the process in order to deliver efficiently and to the highest qualitY

    Account Management & Planning

    • Work with delivery team to produce timing plans for all jobs and campaigns to drive delivery
    • Always know the status of each of your jobs in the system
    • Work together with your full team across delivery, creative, production, content etc. to deliver high quality work
    • Ensure that the right people have approved all work before it is sent to client
    • Manage tight deadlines while adhering to processes
    • Seamlessly manage multiple stakeholders across brands under the guidance of the Business Unit Director
    • Take full ownership of every job that comes through you – ensure that every job is measured against client requirements, agreed strategy and on-brand
    • Write excellent briefs with full clarity on all requirements and inspire strategy, creative, production, development to do great work
    • Consider the impact of any given change briefed by client on other elements in a campaign or other jobs in the system – this might be a timing impact, it might be a strategic impact, it might require more work on other elements / jobs
    • Communicate with excellence, maturity and intent when writing or speaking
    • Have excellent self-management, with thorough to-do lists and personal organization which supports your ability to be efficient and effective in your job
    • Have an opinion and be solution orientated
    • Keep abreast of the latest digital and social trends in accordance with industry best practice

    Qualifications

    Requirements / Experience / Skill:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business Communications
    • Minimum 3 years working experience as an Account Director or Senior Account Manager in Advertising Agency (or in a similar environment)
    • Proficient in Office 365 (i.e. Word/Teams/Excel/PowerPoint etc.)
    • Well versed in Digital
    • A good command of the English language (both verbal and written)
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Strong administrative and organizational skills
    • Strong numerical skills (financial & budget management experience)
    • Strong multitasking skills (ability to work on more than one brief at any given time)
