    Digital Acquisition Specialist

    THE ROLE

    As we grow, the Digital Acquisition Specialist is a critical new role for us – a performance-marketing expert, who brings deep expertise to our mobile app launch, and leads the delivery of downloads, registrations & active users on- and off-line for Healthforce services.

    As a technology business, our Digital Acquisition Specialist is a critical leader of the commercial impact created by marketing. This person will be part of a completely new marketing team responsible for:

    • Leading the business towards being truly patient-led, rooted in consumer empathy & insight;
    • Delivering demand and delight from users (including metrics for app downloads and registrations, patient visits, active users, NPS, customer effort score, and cost of acquisition);
    • Delivering customer lifetime value from retained and repeating users;
    • Creating from scratch a brand with greater shareholder value than the product/service alone;
    • Partnering with our product team to create impetus for human-centred innovation that fuels growth.
       

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    •       Leading our digital marketing efforts, with a focus on consumer acquisition: We’re looking for a hands-on digital marketer, with deep expertise and experience in performance marketing and active user acquisition. You will be responsible for end to end management of performance marketing acquisition activity across Paid Social, Search and Display.
    •       Embedding digital best practice across touchpoints: Delivering on digital marketing plans to attract & acquire new users for Healthforce services online and offline; driving performance marketing, influencer marketing and other touchpoints in an integrated effort to drive user acquisition. You will work closely with the wider marketing team to optimise audience strategies.
    •       Creating measurable impact: Driving downloads of our new D2C app service, including acquiring registered users and converting them into active users for our mobile app service, analysing results in real time, adapting plans, testing options, and rolling out successful executions to optimise CPA/CAC. You will ensure budget is spent across performance channels effectively, and will track and report on key performance indicators of media activity.
    •       Fuelling the business together: Collaborating closely with product, tech and other Healthforce teams to deliver an integrated user experience.

    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

    •       An agile, hands-on digital marketer, with demonstrated experience on a services brand in retail, financial services, tech or e-commerce. 
    •       An exceptional and proven digital marketing master, with experience across all of social content creation, online advertising and app-based marketing.
    •       Skills in Search platforms including Google AdWords.
    •       Understanding of social media advertising across major platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
    •       Understanding of mobile app store advertising – Google Play, Apple, other android platforms.
    •       Website and mobile app store analytics.
    •       Experience working on performance media (including app store, Display, SEM and Social) strategy.
    •       Analytical and numerate, capable of understanding and analysing complex user data.
    •       Proficiency in cohort analysis, associated tools and marketing application thereof.
    •       Exceptional proven cross-functional collaborator.
    •       A planner, enthusiastic connector, committed executer, fast learner, curious & adaptable.

     

    EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

    •       Has held responsibility with proven results marketing a consumer-facing digital service. Delivery of active user acquisition plans and executions.
    •       5+ years of experience in digital marketing.
    •       Likely experience with e-commerce, digital app-based business, or performance-marketing media house.

    Desirable but not essential:

    •       Broader exposure to offline user acquisition of a services business.
    •       Healthcare experience.
    •       Experience in an agile entrepreneurial or start-up environment.
    •       Experience in Anglophone Africa beyond Southern Africa.
