We are looking for a Senior Digital and Social Media Strategist that has a wide knowledge of digital and other content delivery platforms. They need to excel at out-of-the-box thinking and are creative yet methodical in their approach at reaching specific market targets by using different digital mediums. They need to have an understanding of people and how they interact with digital media. They must closely follow trends related to how consumers are accessing information.
The will work with teams to collaborate on marketing campaigns across brand, communication and digital. We need someone that is an integrated digital professional and tactical in their approach to building brands, communicating to customers and lengthening the customer lifetime.
They need to be skilled at brainstorming, deadline driven, organised and detail obsessed. They must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This person needs to be proactive and self-motivated, highly curious, and collaborative.
The Senior Digital and Social Media Strategist reports to the Strategic Planning Director, and works closely with the Group Account Directors, Creative Directors, Copywriters, and Project Managers and will be expected to engage with Clients when presenting work and managing revisions.
Evangelise the power of digital/social innovation to inspire cutting edge strategy/creative/executions
Identify new opportunities for digital/social innovation, enforce processes, provide quality assurance and implement best practices across all engagements
Develop brand, communication and CRM strategies for digital/social; covering topics such as campaign, communication and channel planning, and programmatic recommendations for acquiring customers and building lifetime value
Manage digital/social strategy, execution, measurement and optimisation of large brand campaigns
Integrate digital/social initiatives across multiple platforms and channels
Collaborate with cross functional project teams to motivate, create and implement short and long-term integrated digital/social strategies
Collaborate with digital innovation group team members with a focus on strategic insights, digital/social content creation, platform and community management, influencer programs, analytics and reporting

6 to 8 years of relevant digital/social media experience (agency experience preferred)
Passion for digital/social innovation
Strong digital/social strategy, brand and communications strategy and content development background
Solid understanding of social media and the digital landscape
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends
Superior communication, organisational, and project management skills
