    Digital Brand Manager

    This role of Digital Brand Manager will form part of the dynamic and growing Marketing team in the Health and Medical Division (HMS). This role will be based in Pinetown, South Africa and dedicated to the medical and incontinence brands sold in the local market. The primary objective of this role will be to set up and grow the brand digital footprint and utilizing the marketing tools to create and or increate brand awareness and sales thereof.

    What You Will Do

    • Implement strategic plans for the brand relating to the market positioning, new product usage, profitable and competitive pricing and promotional opportunities.
    • Engage with Advertising, Public Relations and Design agencies in the implementation of advertising and promotional plans and strategies
    • Generate innovative ideas to reinforce our marketing campaigns across digital channels
    • Identify and participate in all the relevant and influential medical societies where promotional opportunities can lead to commercial opportunities for Essity.
    • Develop educational tools e.g. video, booklets, workshop material for the benefit and purpose of supporting Sales teams and customers.
    • Compiling monitoring and reporting on annual sales budget and sales performance
    • Create and optimize online adverts through digital and online platforms to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
    • Translate media plan into a digital campaign by ensuring correct dates, targeting, budgets, objectives and placements are applied
    • P lan and monitor the ongoing presence on social media and website in order to grow the market base
    • Manage the content strategy, including copywriting and website updates
    • Monitor, measure and report on digital marketing initiatives

    Who You Are

    • Must have a post matric qualification in Marketing or Digital Media studies or related field (Diploma / Degree)
    • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in Digital Marketing environment
    • A strong preference will be towards experience in marketing within an FMCG
    • Proficient use and knowledge of Microsoft Office package and Web application and analytic tools

    Competencies

    • Must be a motivated self starter who is able to work independently and also across functional teams
    • Must have a mature outlook in building collaborative and trusted partnerships with various stakeholders
    • Must be data and system oriented with attention to analytical insights
    • Must be a able to drive customer; marketing and brand activities by using reliable tools
