    Digital Graphic Designer

    Job Purpose

    • Conceptualisation and implementation of design solutions for Cipla SAGA OTC brands that meet business needs from concept to completion as per brief. This role will functionally be responsible for creating concepts, layouts and production of final art as required and guided by the Manager - OTC Creative Direction.

    Key Accountabilities
    Creative Design for assigned therapeutic areas

    • Execute all allocated design projects as briefed by Manager: OTC Art Direction for assigned therapeutic category, from conception to delivery
    • Produce specs of outsourced work on delivery of first draft to Manager: OTC Art Direction
    • Design original pieces, including idea generation, illustrations, and infographics for product and/or service advertisements
    • Maintain brand consistency and follow brand guideline on all marketing projects

    Functional Collaboration

    • Liaise with other members of the graphic design team to maximize creativity and excellence in performance and delivery
    • Liaise inter-departmentally to understand product / service briefs including automation and systems
    • Facilitate cross functional collaboration on design projects to garner in-depth knowledge of relevant therapeutic categories in the OTC space
    • Translate concept and knowledge to outcomes in design projects.
    • Attend briefing meetings as directed by Manager: OTC Art Direction as needed III.

    Compliance: Quality control and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

    • Manage allocated design work to ensure all brand guidelines are adhered to for each project – corporate, therapeutic category, brand specific, third-party products etc.
    • SOP Compliance with regards to file repositories; internal processes, and inter-departmental approval procedures.

    Skills and Knowledge
    Educational qualifications:

    • 3-year degree – digital marketing/design/similar
    • UX qualification would be advantages
    • Proven work experience as a Designer, Graphic Designer or similar role. Experience in a pharmaceutical design environment beneficial.
    • Portfolio of completed design projects.
    • Expert skills in design software (Adobe Creative Suite).
    • Hands-on experience with image editing software, like Photoshop.
    • Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts, and layouts.
    • Attention to visual detail essential.

    Relevant experience:

    • At least 5 years’ experience in a relevant design environment.
    • Knowledge of digital design collateral required within OTC Product environment
    • Knowledge of printing procedures essential.
    • UX experience would be advantages

    Other Skills:

    • Knowledge of photography, illustration and verbal and written communication beneficial.
    • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team
