Job Overview

• To work as a multimedia specialist within the Global Marketing team taking ownership and accountability for filming, animation, and video editing deliverables across Ninety One. The primary requirement would be to work alongside our creative services and digital marketing teams for the delivery of multimedia marketing collateral that can be used across distribution platforms. The successful candidate must be comfortable working under pressure, particularly across multiple regions and be able to adequately communicate resource capacity to various stakeholders.
• We are looking for a confident self-starter with a high level of attention to detail and the passion to exercise some creative flair. The jobholder must be able to build relationships quickly across various teams in global marketing and continually provide expert opinion to improve the quality of multimedia content and packaging being distributed from Ninety One.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with creative services and digital marketing teams across Ninety One to interrogate briefs and plan delivery capacity accordingly.
• Responsible for the design and development of multimedia marketing collateral
• Produce, shoot, and edit to ensure video quality is maintained
• Work with briefs in the system to create concepts and the development of storyboards for animated collateral.
• Establishing a strong working relationship with creative marketing and digital associates to deliver the best-in-class output.
• Periodically showcasing new or updated effects and examples to continually keep the global marketing team aware of developments in the multimedia space.
• Applying variety of animation skills – 2D, 3D and mixed media to specific multimedia output
• Actively work with IT and creative marketing team to provide input and expertise into the build of webinar and studio facilities
• Accountability for working alongside the Ninety One brand team to define new standards for multimedia output or refine and maintain existing visual identity standards.
• Candidate Requirements

Technical knowledge and experience:

• 3 to 4 years commercial multimedia experience
• Proficient expertise in Adobe Creative Suite – After Effects, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premier
• Proven filming, editing and animations skills (showreel)

Preference:

• Experience working for financial clients or larger corporates directly as a freelancer or through an agency relationship.
• 3D skills using Maxon Cinema 4D or an alternative

• Ability to build strong relationships across different stakeholders in global marketing.
• Confidence to communicate creative ideas or differences.

• Adhering to the Code of Ethics and related policies, including personal account dealing, gifts, market abuse, etc.
• Ensuring Compliance training, declarations and relevant forms are completed on a timely basis
• Ensuring that firm and client data and property, including IT data, are properly protected
• Reporting any possible and actual breaches, errors, complaints or conduct issues.
• Reporting any suspicion that a client, investor, or employee may be involved in money laundering, fraud or other crime such as market abuse
