Digital Marketing Consultant at Crayon

Role Description

The Digital Marketing Consultant will manage relationships and campaigns for various clients from strategy to execution to achieve clients’ requirements. You will also calculate and report on ROI, and constantly analyse client campaigns to ensure revenue goals are met. Managing and mentoring junior team members is also an important part of the role. The ideal candidate has a degree in Marketing Management or Communications with experience in marketing technology platforms.

Salary

• R35,000 per month

Responsibilities

• Manage relationship and marketing strategies for 4 to 5 clients or individual campaigns; schedule and attend weekly/bi-weekly status meetings; maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients
• Manage junior team members and ensure work is completed, review work that is done and mentor team members
• Develop strategies to achieve clients’ requirements
• Execute and manage strategies developed within budget and timeframe
• Calculate required activity and then monitor and optimise to reach clients’ revenue goals
• Constantly analyse and proactively optimise client accounts, campaigns and programmes
• Ensure that all items in client’s contracts are delivered to the client
• Keep abreast with clients’ industry activity
• Keep abreast with digital industry trends

Requirements

• Completed degree in Marketing Management or Communications
• Digital skills: Google Analytics, Google AdWords, content strategy , SEO best practice, social media management
• Experience using a website CMS
• Experience in marketing technology platforms and CRM systems (Hubspot, Eloqua, etc.)
• Content marketing
