Digital Marketing Lecturer And Programme Lead at Red & Yellow School

Job Summary

• Red & Yellow’s Online Education team is on the hunt for a well qualified, seasoned Digital Marketing lecturer and Programme Lead with working experience in the digital marketing field to lecture in, and manage a higher education qualification.
• This role will provide you an excellent opportunity to support and enhance the learning journeys of talented Red & Yellow students. It entails overseeing the implementation of the programme curriculum, developing and delivering lectures, workshops and tutorials through virtual channels and other digital tools, as well as marking of assessments. You would also manage the academic aspects of the programme, ie organizing guest lectures, master classes, peer tutors, teaching assistants (if needed) and actively assuring the quality of the delivery according to CHE regulations.
• You would work closely with, and be supported by, a reliable Programme Administrator, in tandem with a well-versed Instructional Design team.
• As this is a contract/part-time position, this role would best suit digital marketing lecturers/ professionals who are employed in a part-time capacity or those who are freelancers.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee the implementation of the curriculum
• Oversee other lecturers, TA’s and tutors
• Participate in all of The R&Y School’s Academic Governance and Quality Assurance procedures
• Offer assessment and programme content support to students
• Develop and deliver workshops, tutorials and lectures.
• Develop assessments
• Mark and provide feedback on assessments
• Actively work with the R&Y Marketing and Student Advisor teams to promote the programme

Requirements:

• NQF 8 (Honours or PG Dip) qualification in Marketing or related field non- negotiable
• Minimum two years of rigorous and demonstrable experience in digital marketing
• Minimum two years teaching or tutoring experience
• Extremely computer literate: Google Workspace (Gmail, GDrive, GSheets, etc.), Zoom and/or Microsoft 360 package
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project and time management skills
• Flexibility in your schedule

Technical Requirements:

• Own laptop equipped with webcam and microphone of reasonable standard
• Stable, reliable internet
• Quiet working/presentation space
• Access to Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Miro, Figma

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Moodle LMS
• Demonstrable understanding of Higher Education and Training landscape
• Reasonable level of knowledge of CHE requirements
• Serious intent to further studies.
