    Digital Marketing Specialist - Stellenbosch

    DUTIES

    Marketing:

    • Conceptualise and implement the Hungry Lion digital and communication plan and appropriate marketing strategies in the most cost-effective way ensuring brilliant standards, effective strategic positioning, and breakthrough creativity that delivers results and drives brand equity.
    • Research and seek innovative digital opportunities and development of tactical marketing activities and digital campaigns.
    • Drive the planning, direction, coordination, and roll-out of professional and relevant collateral for different market segments and campaigns.
    • Segment audiences and understand customer buying behaviours and profiles.
    • Guide content marketing strategy and support the creation of innovative media content partnerships to amplify reach and drive customer engagement.
    • Work with the Brand Marketing team to create aligned customer communications across all channels.
    • Stay current with all technical and content advances in Facebook and other online marketing channels to bring thought leadership and innovative developments to our product and marketing growth strategy.
    • Implement and execute digital marketing campaigns.
    • Support relevant media planning and buying.
    • Coordinate and brief agencies/suppliers.

    Social media:

    • Create and manage the content calendar for all social media channels.
    • Plan, maintain, and execute the digital marketing and social media strategy and calendar (monthly, quarterly, and yearly).
    • Develop creative briefs and review creative treatments for all social and digital channels.
    • Execute and manage paid social campaigns, which include managing Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok as well as all other digital media ad campaigns.
    • Formulate and manage monthly content strategy and social calendars across all platforms for all countries.
    • Manage experimentation across channels and inform landing pages and creative development.

    Web:

    • Work with the web development team to implement and maintain company websites to ensure content and visuals are current and constantly updated.
    • Plan, prepare and implement digital campaign briefs for the design team and liaise with the web development team to ensure campaigns are rolled out, optimised, and performing well.

    Reporting and Analysis:

    • Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (monthly).
    • Generate weekly and monthly reporting for all key metrics, KPIs, and learnings.
    • Optimise, monitor, and report on campaigns and content as necessary and provide tactical solutions.

    Relationship Building & Networking:

    • Develop positive, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Develop and manage relationships with key partners and act as their primary point of contact.
    • Drive new partnership growth opportunities with current and potential new strategic digital partners across all our markets.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Relevant qualification.

    • Minimum of 5 years experience in Digital Marketing.
    • Proven success working across Facebook and Twitter’s marketing platforms.

    Experience in

    • data analysis, creating insights, embedding learnings, and collaborating with partners across various markets.
    • managing social media and display/search advertising campaigns.
    • identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
    • working with media partners/ publishers to run media campaigns at the market level.
    • working with technical teams on digital initiatives.
    • Familiarity with the digital media landscape and exposure to the likes of YouTube, Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
    • Excellent working knowledge of web analytics tools (E.g., Google Analytics) and the ability to analyse data from multiple sources.
    • Technical knowledge and implementation of the different types of remarketing strategies.
    • Be up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

    Desirable

    • Appropriate experience in QSR, FMCG, or retail environments.
    • Experience on Google Workspace.
