A undergraduate degree in higher education or agricultural management or agricultural science as recognised by SAQA (NQF 7); 5 years middle and/ or senior management experience in agricultural management or higher education; A Valid driver's license, or alternative mode of transport for people with disabilities.
Competencies:
Proven knowledge of and working experience with relevant legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices that have a bearing on the line functions, i.e higher education; Proven knowledge in the processes involved in developing higher education training policies; Knowledge of Strategic management; Knowledge of People management and development; Good communication skills; and understanding of higher education governance and accreditation processes
