Distribution Manager 

A Multinational FMCG company is recruiting a Distribution Manger to join their dynamic management Team. Reporting to the National Distribution Manager the succesfull incumbant will have

Total Mangement of the Distribution and Warehousing Function in the Johannesburg Depot.

• Run the daily Distribution and Warehousing function through a team of supervisors and 3rd party service providers
• Manage and facilitate operations planning to minimize costs and meet service level targets
• Manage a team of around 70
• Manage Outbound 3rd Party Logistics
• Analysis and Review of failed deliveries ,delivery progress,returns,damaged goods.
• Manage Reverse Logistics
• Manage daily warehouse operations of recieving,put away ,storage and dispatch
• Warehouse layout
• Inventory Management

The role calls for a strong Manager and motivator of people. Must have exceptional inter personal and communication skills.
