District Manager (Libraries & Heritage) at eThekwini Municipality

Job Purpose: 

• Responsible for the strategic planning, management and coordination of the Libraries Service Points within the Districts.

Essential Requirements: 

• Bachelors Degree (NQF Level 7) in Library and Information Science or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• Registered member of the Library and Information Association of South Africa (LIASA). Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 5 Years relevant experience of which 2 years must be at a supervisory level. Computer Literacy.
• Special Conditions: Re-Imbursive Locomotion/Fleet vehicle could be allocated in terms of the Locomotion Scheme/Rules.
• Physical Requirements: Physical handicaps can be accommodated with the exclusion of the blind, hearing impaired and quadriplegic.
