Driver Assistant at Dairy Exchange (Pty) Ltd

Job Summary / Purpose:

• The Driver assistant is responsible for providing labour assistance to the Driver, for picking of orders, loading of the truck, off-loading of orders at customers.                                                   

Primary Responsibilities

• Loading and off-loading of truck.
• Pick orders.
• Ensuring mandatory documentation is maintained and gathered as needed, pursuant to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure truck and product security are maintained and controlled.
• Ensure trucks are cleaned according to company procedure and cleanliness is maintained.
• Ensure records are completed effectively.
• Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
• To maintain a high professional and ethical profile in accordance with industry and company standards.
• Maintain a well groomed and business like appearance.
• Ensuring Quality and food safety system and social accountability system requirements are adhered to.
