Job Description

• Job Description: Motus Autoworx, a dynamic leader in the vehicle repair industry is looking, is inviting applications from honest, trustworthy, and highly responsible candidates with relevant driving experience to apply for the position of Driver: Light duty at our East London branch. 
• Position Overview: The purpose of the position is to collect and deliver customers, vehicles, parts, and goods for the branch. 

Minimum Experience:

• 2 years’ or more relevant driving experience.

Minimum Qualification: 

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license
• Computer literacy – basic level sufficient
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, at the required workplace standard.
• Ability to use maps

Job Outputs:

• Check delivery vehicles before use, ensuring they are in suitable condition for customer delivery, and report any safety or quality issues, including expired licenses.
• Refuel vehicles and check tyre pressure, oil, water and other fluid levels.
• Deliver vehicles to customers in line with Company procedures.
• Collect and transport customers in line with Company procedures.
• Collect and deliver documents to banks, suppliers and clients.

Working Conditions

• Primarily driving-based role with occasional access to the workshop environment, where there may be exposure to noise, dust, paint fumes, and chemicals (PPE provided where required).
• Regular travel and driving between various locations as required.
• May require overtime, weekend work or shift work depending on operational needs.
• May involve standing, walking and light manual tasks.
