Driver: Forklift at DHL Supply Chain

Key Tasks

• Conduct daily inspections of MHE and report any defects to Management.
• Ensure damages are kept to a minimum.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and safe working practices.

• Ensure pallets are packed according to stacking standards.
• Correct unsafe equipment and promptly report defects/faults.
• Inspect stock integrity.
• Report and record non‑conformities related to customer requirements or unsafe acts.
• Handle goods with care to minimise damages.
• Maintain a high level of hygiene in the work area.
• Complete tasks timeously.
• Adhere to the Unit’s SHE rules and best practices.
• Ensure product safety, quality, and integrity are not compromised.
• Report any behaviour that may impact safety, quality, or integrity of stored product.

Qualifications & Experience

Education/Qualification/Certification Requirements:

• Matric. 
• Valid Forklift Driver Licence.

Experience:

• Computer literacy. 
• Strong communication skills. 
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
