Purpose of Job

• Correct and safe loading, securing and offloading of Refurbishment and non-refurbishment materials at Warehouses and TEM workshop, Business Units and Suppliers (when required).
• Ensuring that the vehicle used for delivery are in a safe and roadworthy condition and at all times complying too all traffic rules and regulations.
• Taking care, custody and control of; vehicle, all assets and all relevant materials being transported.

Key Accountabilities

• Accurate loading and offloading of required materials at the Warehouse, TEM workshop and SO sites with the demand
• Adhere to designated routes and timeous delivery
• Making use of Gate pass and relevant documentation to ensure confirmation of deliveries/collections.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly vehicle inspections, adhere to legislation and to traffic regulations
• Ensuring good general housekeeping practices (cleaning vehicles and distribution areas)
• Conduct and/or undergo; on the job training, SAP transactional training
• Ensure on time delivery and knowledgeable and effective use of applicable routes/off-loading Points
• Adherence to Plant Safety Requirements in terms of Permit Management and Compliance
• Adhere to log book and key control requirements at all times

Formal Education

• Grade 12 or N3 with English
• Code C/C1/EC1 License
• PrDP P, G or D where applicable

Working Experience

• Experience: 1+ relevant years
