Driver Supervisor: Street Sweeping at uMngeni Local Municipality

BASIC SALARY R206 440.08 – R267 989.40

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Matric /Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) Certificate.  3 years of relevant experience.  Valid Code C1 (10)driving license.
KNOWLEDGE  

• Strong leadership , driving and ability to manage teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Manage workflow and Manage employees issues.  
• Provide feedback.  
• Providing guidance and instruction to the General Worker on daily activities and work schedules.  Perform specific tasks/ activities at the identified sites prior to and on completion of allocated maintenance assignments.
• Complete internal documentation (e.g., log sheet, vehicle checklist, etc.) and compile specific incident reports. 
• Receiving instructions from the Foreman to establish details of tasks.  Inspecting safety devices, controls, lubricant levels, etc on vehicles and reports defects to the Foreman.  Driving heavy/light-duty vehicles and adhere to road safety requirements at all times.
