The E-commerce Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the picking and packing of online order and assisting with the following up with all online customer queries. They will be responsible for all orders processed through our shop on demand functionality, GoFetch. The individual will work with the rest of the E-commerce team to ensure that all customer queries, on demand orders and click and collects are seen to within the targeted time. The position is based at our Cape Town Warehouse in Marconi Beam.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete all picking and packing of orders accurately.
Manage any couriers that needs to be booked, collected, or delivered to clients.
Ensure courier parcels are correctly delivered, without damage and in accordance with online delivery terms and conditions.
Assist in managing all on demand orders and to ensure they are fulfilled accurately and on time, in line with company standards
Source and coordinate collections form stores.
Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner and resolve any queries in an efficient manner.
Processing of IBT’s to be done accordingly for collections to be sent with the driver.
If stock needs to be ordered from suppliers, it has to be processed and sent to suppliers in a timely manner and to be followed up with to make sure the suppliers delivers all stock correctly and in time.
Processing sales on IQ and also keeping Cloudbase up to date every day.
Stock deliveries from suppliers to be checked, signed off and packed away.
Invoices from suppliers needs to be processed timeously.
Stock counts.
Stock rotations to be done on a bi- monthly basis.
Assist with any ad hoc admin within the Ecommerce department
This position will be required to work Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00.
Part of the E-commerce assistant duties will be to be available during a busy sales period e.g. Black Friday.
Skills and Specifications:
The E-Commerce assistant ought to possess good written and verbal skills in English should be an outstanding communicator.
Should be very focused and hardworking
Needs to be able to carry, pack and move heavy items
