ECD Au Pair | Steyn City | R16 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Steyn City
• Children’s Ages: 5 year old – Girl (occasionally 13 year old step son who is there every second weekend or during school holidays)
• Working hours: Monday – Friday 13:30 – 17:00 & every 2nd Saturday 10:00 – 12:00
• School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
• Duties: Collect from school, take her to any extra murals, educational and age appropriate stimulation, homework assistance and supervision, grocery shopping, assisting with anything childcare related. Supporting early learning, routine, and overall development in a structured yet nurturing way. Duties usually include supervising and engaging the child in age-appropriate educational activities such as early literacy, numeracy, and creative play. Define school skills like reading, writing basics, fine motor development, and following instructions. Encourage independence, good manners, and social skills, while providing a safe and stimulating environment. Additional responsibilities include arranging play dates, and keeping the child’s spaces tidy.
• Special Requirements: Someone ECD Qualified or studying towards their qualification.
• Start Date and contract term: Mid April / May - permanent
• Salary: R16 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
