ECD Teacher | Camps Bay | R12 000 - R15 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

Duties: Focus on early childhood development through play-based learning, introducing basic concepts such as letters, numbers, shapes, and colours, while supporting literacy, numeracy, and fine motor skills. They foster social and emotional growth by encouraging sharing, empathy, and independence in daily routines, and supervise safe indoor and outdoor play. The tutor assists with meals and snacks, prepares age-appropriate learning activities, and adapts lessons to the child’s interests and pace. Regular communication with parents ensures progress is monitored, and learning is consistent with the child’s overall development.
Special Requirements: Someone with the necessary age group experience and very nurturing. Qualified Teacher would be preferable; however, a student teacher would also be ideal.
Start Date and contract term: ASAP – 3 month contract (possibility of extension and renewal)
Salary: R12 000 – R15 000pm - salary dependent on qualifications and experience. (Gross, before deductions) 

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
