Ecommerce Manager

Our client, a leading third-party debit order and payments provider to businesses of all sizes throughout South Africa, is looking to hire a eCommerce Manager to join its sales and client experience team in Cape Town, South Africa

The purpose of this role shall be to drive revenue growth by strategically implementing complete online sales and eCommerce business development plans/strategies with current and prospective clients. Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary degree/diploma in field
• At least 6-8 years’ experience in eCommerce dealing with:

1. Building and managing eCommerce strategies/methodologies/frameworks to meet revenue targets;
2. Assessing operational needs/requirements and best practices in eCommerce management to assist implementation processes;
3. Managing internal and external partners/stakeholders in relation to meeting client eCommerce needs and expectations;
4. Digital marketing activities/strategy;
5. Strong experience with Shopify
6. Strong knowledge of Web/Google Analytics;
7. Strong project management capabilities;
8. Familiarity in developing and managing eBusiness functions enterprise practices and framework procedures.

Skills and Competencies:

• A strong understanding of the fintech industry and social media content management/marketing
• Ecommerce methodologies and framework practices

4. Magento
5. WooCommerce
6. Payment Gateways
7. Relevant development languages (PHP, HTML5, JAVA)

Responsibilities:

• Develop eCommerce revenue growth strategies;
• Utilize and implement marketing and industry specific analysis to identify trends to assist eCommerce growth strategy.
• Building external networks through Partner programs to promote and sell the companies offering.
• Build solid business relationships with current and prospective clients so that the company is recognized as the go-to eCommerce service enabler.
• To provide the relevant stakeholders/partners with direction, being the go-to individual for support and assistance for any stage of the implementation process with the client.
• To oversee, support and manage (in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders) all technical requirements for eCommerce, so that client needs for their online business platforms are met, and the companies service offerings maximized.
• To keep focus on the company’s business plan in relation to growing its market share in the eCommerce space.
• To formulate budgets (in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders) to plan for e-marketing expenditures.
