Liaise with Design Engineers to understand requirements by reading, understanding and applying project specifications.
Assist with concept, basic and detailed designs – producing design drawings for MV, LV and DC system.
Provide support during installation activities – verifying as-built statuses, updating drawings, amending designs, assisting with test and commissioning activities.
Ensure and control quality of work produced.
Produce drawings in line with designated timelines.
Integration of electrical and C&I design with civil, mechanical, and piping.
QUALIFICATION
Minimum National Certificate level 5 in a relevant draughting qualification from an accredited college or equivalent, OR
National Diploma in electrical / electronic engineering from an accredited university or equivalent,
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 4 years in the area of C&I and electrical design
Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry and Renewable Energy will be an advantage
