KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Liaise with Design Engineers to understand requirements by reading, understanding and applying project specifications.
• Assist with concept, basic and detailed designs – producing design drawings for MV, LV and DC system.
• Provide support during installation activities – verifying as-built statuses, updating drawings, amending designs, assisting with test and commissioning activities.
• Ensure and control quality of work produced.
• Produce drawings in line with designated timelines.
• Integration of electrical and C&I design with civil, mechanical, and piping.

QUALIFICATION

• Minimum National Certificate level 5 in a relevant draughting qualification from an accredited college or equivalent, OR
• National Diploma in electrical / electronic engineering from an accredited university or equivalent,

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 4 years in the area of C&I and electrical design
• Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry and Renewable Energy will be an advantage

Key Performance Areas

• Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot operational faults
• Review and update maintenance procedures and bill of materials
• Monitor, record, and report equipment performance metrics
• Verify and manage service spares inventory
• Maintain and inspect HVAC tools and specialized equipment

Qualifications

• NQF Level 4 qualification in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Ventilation
• Trade Test Certificate as Qualified Artisan

Experience

• Minimum 5 years in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• Koeberg experience would be advantageous
