A well-established Electrical Engineering Consultancy is looking for an experienced Electrical Draughtsperson to join their team in Pretoria.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical consulting, with practical experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit to produce detailed electrical engineering drawings and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
Develop and update drawings in accordance with engineering designs and project requirements.
Prepare accurate technical drawings and documentation for electrical building services projects.
Work closely with electrical engineers and other project team members.
Interpret engineering designs, specifications and technical information.
Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated and completed within project deadlines.
Update drawings and models based on design changes and project requirements.
Assist with the coordination of electrical designs within multidisciplinary projects.
Minimum Requirements
Relevant qualification in Draughting, Electrical Engineering or a related field will be advantageous.
3+ years' experience as a draughtsperson within an electrical consulting engineering environment.
Strong AutoCAD experience.
Revit experience will be advantageous.
Good understanding of electrical engineering drawings and building services.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, designs and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and meet strict project deadlines.
