RPO Recruitment’s client, a reputable consulting engineering firm in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Electrical / Mechanical Revit Modeller to join their multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have strong Revit modelling experience within a building services or MEP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed 3D Revit models for building services projects
Produce accurate technical drawings and documentation
Coordinate models across electrical, mechanical and other disciplines
Identify and resolve clashes and design coordination issues
Incorporate engineering revisions and maintain drawing/model accuracy
Assist with BIM coordination and project deliverables
Work closely with engineers, technicians and other project stakeholders
Ensure models and drawings comply with project and company standards
Requirements:
Relevant draughting, engineering or technical qualification
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
Strong proficiency in Revit / Revit MEP
Experience with electrical and/or mechanical building services
Proficiency in AutoCAD advantageous
Experience working within a multidisciplinary BIM environment
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
