Job Description

• A leading manufacturing client in the packaging sector is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, fault-find, and repair electrical machinery and equipment within the production facility.
• Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize plant downtime.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and automation failures on packaging and extrusion/forming machinery.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize plant efficiency and operational performance.

Requirements

• Trade Tested Electrician (Red Seal qualification is essential).
• Direct operational experience in the plastics, packaging, or corrugated packaging industries is a must.
• Strong fault-finding abilities with industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and control circuits.
• Proven track record of working safely and effectively in a high-volume manufacturing plant environment.
• Willingness to work shifts or respond to call-outs when necessary.
