Job Description
- Our client in Mechanical Manufacturing has a vacancy for an Electrician at their operation in Maitland. The ideal candidate will have experience on Machine tools (CNC, milling, lathe and grinding machines etc.).
Responsibilities:
- New electrical installation (wiring, testing, and commissioning of equipment).
- Maintenance of site and factory electrical reticulation.
- Fault finding and repair of electrical breakdowns with emphasis on CNC machine.
- Pre – planned preventative maintenance of electrical equipment and machines.
- Preform trade related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
- Audit factory and draw up a task list to complete findings
Qualifications and Experience:
- NQF Level 3/5 Electrical Engineering
- A Wireman’s license would be advantageous.
- Problem- solving: Ability to identify faults; problems, determine possible solutions and implement corrective measures.
