Engineer-Engineering Services at Drakenstein Municipality

JOB PURPOSE:

• Manage the operation of the total water & waste water services bulk and reticulation network. Manage and development of water treatment works and plant, the development of the distribution of potable water and the development of the water and wastewater services bulk & reticulation systems and providing technical assistance to the maintenance Depots, within a check deadline environment. Responsible for the short-term, medium and long-term planning and development of operational infrastructure, the development facilitation process and capital projects in order to ensure that operational services are provided timeously to accommodate new development and that services taken over from Developers comply with set standards.

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:

• Relevant National Diploma (NQF6) or B.Tech Degree (NQF7) in Engineering and eligible for registration with Engineering Council of South Africa
