Engineer (Process Plant): Standards & Change Control at Kelly

The Role

We're seeking an Engineer (Process Plant) for a 3 - 6 month contract role in Richards Bay, KZN. The purpose of this role is to provide plant configuration support by maintaining configuration management practices and systems in the operation.  To monitor and control plant configuration activities by ensuring adherence to document management processes, blue print management and preservation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Project managing CM activities
• Control and Audit engineering change requirement management according to approved CM framework
• Interacting with various stakeholders to determine specific CM needs
• Ensure compliance to change requirements and data integrity
• Planning and co-ordination in compliance audits to ensure adherence to plant configuration policies and procedures
• Control and and administration of the engineering document facilities to ensure the safeguard and upkeep of all technical documentation, reports and blueprints of the plant
• Perform status accounting and reporting requests for the entire lifecycle of the change requests and governance over engineering standards and processes

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• National Diploma in Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical/plant process field
• Must have experience in facilitating safe plant/process change
• Must have experience in liasing with plant engineers and superintendents on all change requirements
• Good communication and managment skills
