    Engineer: Radar, RF and Software REF No: 9993355

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Degree in Engineering (B.Eng. / BSc Eng.) (Electronics / Mechatronics) 
    • Added Advantage: ECSA registration 
    • 4 – 6 years’ experience in Engineering 
    • Experience in Radar and Communications Systems 
    • Experience in Software Programming / Development (C+++or C#) 
    • Experience in Electronics Design 
    • Added Advantage: Experience in interfacing equipment as signal and software level 
    • Added Advantage: Experience in electromagnetic systems applicable to the Maritime / Naval Environment including Radio Communications, Radar and Electronic Warfare (EW)

    CRITICAL PERFORMANCE AREA

    • To execute functions associated to the electromagnetic systems applicable to the Maritime / Naval Environment including Radio Communications, Radar and Electronic Warfare (EW). 
    • To execute medium complexity RF and Hardware design tasks. 
    • To assist during the design, enhancement and testing the accuracy of tracking radar systems. 
    • To setup, design and develop computer models in order to simulate, interpret results and to perform mathematical verification. 
    • To utilise software models in order to simulate, verify or interpret raw data or trial results. 
    • To develop software for systems integration, sensor data capturing and human-machine interface. 
    • Analyse data, interpret results, propose actions / recommendations and write technical reports. 
    • Be responsible for making low to medium complex engineering decisions as part of engineering activities. 
    • Communicate and network with clients in support of IMT objectives. 
    • Undertake professional development activities, sufficient to maintain and extend competence in specified areas. 
    • Network with industry, academia, etc. to be aware of the latest available technology in area of expertise. 
    • Enhance client relationship to ensure continuation of business. 
    • Responsible for appropriate allocated ad hoc tasks (e.g. organizational, technical, sea going, diving, SHEQ. Etc.)
