Engineering Aide Electrical (Marble Hall)

- Location Mpumalanga
- Job Field Engineering / Technical
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
- Grade 12
- N2 Electrical certificate
- Minimum 2 year’s working experience
- Must be medically fit to work on a Mine
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Risk assessment to be filled in and signed before any job is carried out
- Assist Electrician to clean substation areas daily
- Assist Electrician to clean transformers areas daily
- Assist with greasing of electrical motors monthly
- Assist with electrical repairs under the supervision of the Qualified Electrician
- Replace all effective globe, electrical equipment plugs and switches
- Assist in cleaning all electrical panels on a monthly basis
- Assist with monthly inspections of electrical equipment and completion of legal registers
- Assist with minor electrical resets
- Adhere to all safety rules at all times and follow proper lockout procedure
- Assist in electrical inspections
- Keep electrical stores clean and tidy at all time
- Good timekeeping and attendance
- Participate in good housekeeping practices at the mine
