Engineering Assistant Level 1 at Anglo American

Job Description:

As an Engineering Assistant you will work hand in hand with the Engineering Foreman. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Material & workshop machinery & equipment control
• Loading, dispatching material & equipment to work sites
• Ensure that all required tools, material and spares are available to perform tasks
• Accompany the Artisan in inspections
• Apply recognised work and safety standards
• Ensure that material is not unnecessarily wasted

This role is in the Engineering department at a B2 level reporting to the Engineering Foreman.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or N2 with Maths and Science
