Engineering Assistant at Sylvania Platinum Limited

Major tasks of the job:

• The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the artisan in machine maintenance, servicing and repairing of all process equipment.

Knowledge/Education Requirement:

• Grade 12 or equivalent;
• Knowledge of the Sylvania processes.

Experience and requirements:

• Minimum 2 years related engineering experience;
• Familiar with engineering tools and equipment;
• Good safety and housekeeping skills are essential.

Personality Requirements:

• Team player;
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual;
• Good communication skills;
• Display the necessary ability in solving mechanical problems;
• Proactive individual.

Other Requirements:

• Stay in close proximity of the Western Operations or be prepared to relocate;
• Prepared to work overtime, when necessary;
