Understanding of the flow of maintenance department, from generation of planned and unplanned job cards, through to correct filling of paperwork
Be presentable to the client in grooming and dress code
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Always ensure compliance with all the Company’s and the Clients’ safety standards, policies and procedures
Collect all relevant paperwork, Operators check lists, failure feedback forms from the control room
All the forms to be checked for discrepancies and correctness and all variations to be reported to the engineering planner
All job cards to be captured correctly and timeously on the required system.
Operators’ checklist to be scrutinized and all operators’ comments regarding issues on the machines to be listed, and communicated to the Engineering planner
Ensure all maintenance job cards and failure feedback forms are filed in the correct files, on the same day as it having been captured
Assist in the day-to-day running of the maintenance department as determined by the Engineering planner or designated person
Be available for overtime as and when required
Know and understand all work instructions relevant to maintenance department and Mine
Perform additional duties as may become necessary, as and when required or requested
