Ensure smooth and efficient maintenance operation of Brakpan Fiber Cement factory.
Perform other tasks as specified by the Plant Manager.
Ensure that both he and his subordinates obey general safety, environment and security regulations.
Ensure that both he and his subordinates obey safety regulations and observe safety precautions as laid down in the Machinery and Occupational Safety Act.
Ensure good maintenance standards to minimise down time and cost.
Improve and maintain effective human resources.
Maintain workplace in a clean and workable condition.
Appointed as GMR 2 according to the OSH act
WCM implementation and Management
Manage and forecast the plant maintenance budget within agreed limits.
Liaise with authorities on service supply issues of water and electricity. Ensure back-up supply availability where possible.

Tertiary qualification in engineering or related fields: B-Tech/HND or Bach Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
