The operational requirements for our client in the Oil and Gas industry will be your responsibility. Partnering with the client's management teams enables the project to drive the activities that help deliver our operational service offering successfully. It will be expected of you to generate your own innovative ideas and identify and/or contribute to great cost-saving initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
A minimum of a tertiary qualification (Diploma, BTech, Beng, etc) in a relevant field (Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering).
A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Engineering Manager.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry with a focus on Retail and Commercial fuel stations.
Experience working on CMMS and reporting to the client on improvements
Experience in managing technical and non-technical staff.
Valid driver’s licence & own transport.
Good understanding of SLAs and management of contracts.
Be reliable, trustworthy, have good communication skills and be able to work under pressure.
Duties & Responsibilities
Take ownership of the service delivery (performance) in all regions.
Enable and train AM resources to effectively deliver the "Pragma Way".
Build long-term relationships with the client's Operational management team(s) and contractors so they regard Pragma as their trusted partner.
Use Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. Wyn reports) effectively to enable informed management decision-making.
Manage and coordinate resources in all regions.
Provide excellent service that satisfies the client and assist the client to resolve complaints.
Do site inspections and assist the client to resolve critical problems identified.
Participate as a Steering Committee member.
Do regular region visits to ensure consistency of service delivery.
Drive site visits and Asset Care Plan attainment in all regions.
