Engineering Planner - Head Office

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric certificate/ equivalent
- Relevant Trade Certificate
- MS Office Proficiency
- Thorough understanding of procurement procedures / stores administration
- Certificate in Maintenance Planning (or equivalent experience)
- Medically Fit
- Onkey (Pragma) experience will be advantageous
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- 5 years’ experience working in an engineering planning position
- 5 years’ experience working with engineering maintenance plans – plant in particular
- Working knowledge of Mine Health & Safety Act
- A proven track record in maintenance management
- Basic knowledge of contract mining industry
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reporting on plant productivity
- Accountability for the management of all business aspects of engineering planning & plant maintenance
- Procurement of TMM parts/spares and other engineering items
- Generate controls for engineering maintenance
- Management of engineering maintenance budget
- Management of critical spares
- Maintaining & improving good client, supplier relationships
