CRITICAL OUTPUTS

• To function as part of a team under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• To maintain the comfort of the patient and do regular observations.
• To promote and maintain good communication skills with the multidisciplinary team and the patients’ family.
• To maintain patient confidentiality.
• To maintain effective recordkeeping as required by Intercare policies/procedures.
• To adhere to infectious control policy and procedure.
• To use resources appropriately without wastages and abuse of equipment and consumables.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Qualified as Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary
• Registration with SANC
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in medical, surgical and geriatric care
• Previous experience within a Sub-Acute/Rehabilitation Environment would be advantageous
