Enrolled Nurse or Staff Nurse Driefontein Old Stand CHC
Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), as a Nursing Assistant.
Knowledge of nursing care, processes and procedures.
Ability to function within a community.
Provide healthcare services. Good communication skills and keep patient information confidential.
Ability to work under pressure and must be able to work shifts.
Duties
Duties: Practice nursing in accordance with relevant laws and regulations of nursing. Maintain ethical standards of nursing, including professional development.
Provide elementary nursing care, which entails clinical observation, maintenance of hygiene and nutritional status of patients.
Create a safe and therapeutic environment.
Be responsible for the efficient and effective utilization of resources.
Render support to Nursing Professionals. Assist patients with activities of daily living. Patient care. Adhere to Batho Pele Principles, Patients Right Charter.
Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and other clinicians.
