Entry Level Software Release Technician (Hybrid) at Sybrin Limited

• Job Summary: We are seeking an Entry-Level Release Technician to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. The Release Technician will be responsible for supporting the software development team in managing software releases and deployments across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the software development team to manage software releases and deployments across multiple environments.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure that software releases are properly tested, documented, and approved prior to deployment.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of release processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that releases are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal risk.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software releases and deployments.
• Participate in release retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with source control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
