Environmental Health Practitioner /SNR EHP at Central Karoo District Municipality

• National Diploma/Degree in Environmental Health. Between  5 - 8 years relevant experience required
• Minimum 2-3 years supervisory experience Successful completion of the compulsory one-year community service.
• Proof of current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Independent
• Practitioner Valid Code B Driver's license with own reliable vehicle Successful completion of Peace Officer training will serve as an advantage to applicants.
• Ability to function independently and effectively in stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills in at least two of the three languages of the Western Cape Province Computer literacy Excellent analytical, interpersonal and project management skills Ability to function effectively in stressful situations.
• Good facilitation and presentation skills

CORE FUNCTION

• To render a Municipal Health Service as defined in the Health Act, 2003 (Ac 61 of 2003) in his/her responsible area, according to organizational policies and statutory requirements, read in conjunction with the Scope of Practice of an Environmental Health Practitioner
