    Environmental Officer - Mining Industry - JHB

    Responsibilities:

    • Identifying environmental incidents, conducting investigations and assisting with the environmental impact assessments
    • Conducting the sampling and interpretation of environmental monitoring data
    • Conducting environmental awareness training
    • Performing site inspections and audits
    • Environmental engagement with relevant stakeholders
    • Knowledge in ISO14001, mine closure, rehabilitation and biodiversity management will be advantageous

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science
    • ISO 14001 and Auditing Certificate
    • 3-5 years of experience in the mining industry
