Environmental Officer Production Grade A:Waste Management
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Bachelors
- Experience 1 year
- Location Free State
- City Bloemfontein
- Job Field Science
REQUIREMENTS :
- An appropriate Bachelors’ Degree in Natural/ Physical Science/ Environmental Management or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year experience within the waste management and pollution control environment.
- Knowledge of NEM:WA and environmental legislation. Good communication and report writing skills are essential. Computer literacy. A valid driver’s license.
DUTIES :
- Contribute towards the implementation of environmental policies, legislation, protocols, regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure the responsible management of waste in the province.
- Promote, facilitate and implement strategies for cleaner production technology.
- Administer, implement and enforce statutory obligations with regards to waste, storage, treatment and disposal facility permitting.
- Preform all administrative and related functions.
